Mollie and baby {Estes Park Maternity Photographer}

You may remember Mollie’s gorgeous wedding last summer to her firefighter husband, Sean.  Now they’re getting ready to welcome a new member to their family… a baby girl!  (Well, 95% sure it’s a baby girl, as Mollie would tell you.)  It’s funny, I love maternity sessions even more since I had my own little one.  There’s something about growing a little human that is both amazing and just so darn hard!  We started out our shoot in the library where Mollie goes to read parenting books and dream about her little one.  We wandered the streets of Estes, ate ice cream in nearly freezing temperatures and finished up in her own little home nestled in the mountains (did I mention Mollie’s a gorgeous dancer?).  Mollie’s laugh is infectious and their sweet baby is going to have a great sense of humor, I’m sure!

Megan - Last one is really pretty!

Niko-niko waratte kudasai! - Mollie is just gorgeous. And the last one is probably my favorite

The Stephan Family {Colorado Family Photographer}

You may recognize those sweet kiddo’s from Joseph’s newborn shoot.  Now we’ve pulled in the whole family for a day full of a lot of laughter and love.  I loved that we took a moment with each couple, but still pulled in the whole family for some great group shots.  This is just a little piece of the day, but I think you’ll find you can’t stop smiling when you look through them.

Erika and Mark’s E-Session {Greeley Engagement Photographer}

     Mark was a groomsmen in our wedding a few years ago, so the fact that he’s now planning his own wedding with his sweet fiancée is enough to make me a little giddy.  They have been apart while Mark works on his doctorate and she finishes a music degree (I love musicians, by the way, I was briefly a music major myself), but, we met up right after Christmas to take a few photos.  I think they enjoyed a good excuse to cuddle (though, really, who needs one?).  I think you’ll be able to see how much he absolutely cherishes her and how much she adores him.

Kelsey and Michael’s Love Story {Northglenn Wedding Photographer}

You may remember Kelsey and Michael from their engagement session.  They were even sweeter (and maybe just a little more spiffed up) on their wedding day.  I loved Kelsey’s response when someone asked if she was nervous.  Her face just lit up and told them no.  They were both completely confident as they headed into the ceremony – it was beautiful.  There were a lot of tears on this day (admittedly a few from me), both of joy and a few of sorrow as they remembered family members that couldn’t be there, especially Kelsey’s brother Jordan who passed away a little over a year ago.

Not only was it a party because, well, two amazing people were getting hitched, but it was also New Year’s Eve!  The night was one long party full of everybody dancing… and I mean everybody.  There were toasts, countdowns, cheering and a whole lot of kissing.  Happy 2012!

The Hernandez Family at Christmas {Greeley Family Photographer}

A few days after our little hang out with Miss Siena, she was rushed to the hospital through ice and snow. She was very sick and no one could tell quite what was wrong. We all held our breath as we waited for news (and mommy was due with the brand new baby!) Luckily, she bounced back in time to welcome her sweet baby sister, Thalia home. With just days to go before Christmas, I met up with these sweet kids, took a few photos and played vikings and dragons (they became friends). Enjoy, and Merry Christmas (we don’t stop celebrating until the Epiphany)!
