If I had to choose to two words to describe this shoot, it would be: light and laughter. It was the perfect fall day, and the park was absolutely drenched in beautiful golden light. Add in that Hannah’s smile rarely leaves her face for a second and the both of them giggled through the entire shoot and you have a very happy photographer. I’m pretty sure you can’t make it through this post without cracking at least a little smile.
This, my dears, was the perfect wedding to have as my “last wedding“. I loved that there were so many moments of perfect tenderness as well as a whole lot of crazy celebrating. They worked hard to have details that were really about them as a couple and their wedding party couldn’t have been more willing to do just about anything for a fun shot! Enjoy!
Oh, my dears. You may remember these two sweethearts from a very, very chilly fall shoot last year. This year, they ordered up a gorgeous, warm, fall day and brought their grandparents, aunt and uncle and sweet little cousin! I had such a hard time choosing what to put in this preview (hence having almost twice as many as I normally do), because no matter what… I felt like I was leaving something adorable out! You’ll just have to trust me when I say that every single image from this shoot makes me smile… and hopefully these little excerpts bring a little happiness to your Friday!
This has to be one of my favorite shoots, ever. No exaggeration. It was so worth waking up just a little early and heading out into a chilly fall morning. These two were complete naturals in front of the camera (or really, just with each other and I just happened to have a camera there). The lighting, the location, and their very own never-never land love story made this morning pure joy.
And…after the announcements… back to our regular programming. Because, despite the changes, you’ll still be seeing a whole of adorable faces and happiness on the blog… I’m not saying good-bye entirely, after all!
I was so excited to meet this sweet little girl, not only because, well, she’s adorable, but because her mommy was one of my college roommates! Allison and I hadn’t seen each other since becoming wives and mommies, so it was such fun to catch up and cuddle her new little bundle all at the same time!

Candy - You captured their love soooo beautifully!!!
