Changes…

Voboril Photography is undergoing some changes over the next year, and while I’ve alluded to this occasionally, I figured it would be good to actually tell you what I’ve got going on around here.

We are very, very happily welcoming a sweet second daughter into our family in February.  Because I was a photographer before I got married or became a mommy, I am constantly trying to figure out the balance between work and my artistry and being the wife and mother I want to be.

After a lot of thought, and knowing full well the possibilities with a high-risk pregnancy after our first little preemie, I have decided to slow down my work a bit by taking a step back from the wedding aspect of my business for the next year.  While I will continue to take smaller shoots (families, children, engagements, ‘day after’ shoots, etc), I’ve realized that the intense time and energy both shooting, editing and following up with a wedding takes makes it difficult to give both that and two little girls and a wonderful husband the time and energy each deserves.  I have not made this decision lightly as I have absolutely adored the couples whose beautiful days I have captured over the past decade and the images I’ve been able to give them.  While I may resume weddings after my little sabbatical and do have a couple planned for 2014, I’m leaving the decision of how far I’ll delve back into them to a later date.

All of the changes aside, I am excited to be delving even deeper into life as a mommy and into making each shoot as special and beautiful as my clients are.  To inquire about shoots, visit my website and use the contact tab.  Keep an eye out for an updated website in the next few months!  I can’t wait to hear from you!

The Bialek Family {Broomfield Family Photographer}

What a fun, sweet family!  The boys kept me on my toes, but were more than willing to play and adventure in this fun little open space while I followed them around.  I especially love when we get a good couple shot of Mom and Dad… she told me this was their first since they got married!

Frankie & Christine’s Love Story {Denver Wedding Photographer}

 You may remember this awesome couple from their engagement session.  Their entire day was just a blast!  They surrounded themselves with people that love and support them (in fact, so many beautiful things were done by friends, including the flowers by one of their groomsmen) and it showed!  There was lots of laughter, lots of tears and remembering and, of course, a whole lot of partyin’! Enjoy!

Frankie - Thanks again for capturing our special moment!

Sweet Lucy turns one! {Denver Children & Family Photographer}

I truly love when I get to “follow” clients through all of their life changes.  I’ve been lucky enough to shoot this beautiful couple’s engagement, wedding and once Miss Lucy came on the scene, their maternity session, her newborn session, six months and now… a year!  We were racing against clouds and rain the night we shot this, but Miss Lucy is all sweet sunshine and it wasn’t hard to get some great shots!  Can’t wait to keep documenting your sweet family, guys!
[PS The elephant shot?  My favorite!  No one does it better!]

Welcoming Miss Emmelia {Denver Newborn Photographer}

You may remember this sweet family from their maternity session.  I was so excited to meet their new addition and she definitely did not disappoint.  Not only did she flash the most adorable smiles throughout her session, but they may be one of the sweetest, calmest families ever.  In fact, Miss Emmelia’s cousin even joined in for a picture at the very end.  What a fun and happy shoot!
