Growing: The Kissling Family {Wichita Family Photography}

I always love my repeat customers. Not only because it means they were happy the first (or second, or third) time around, but because I get to help document their family as they grow. That aspect of my job is so important to me. I want the baby in the picture I take today to look back in 30 years and cherish these photographs of their family as they were right then. This is the second time I’ve gotten to photograph the Kisslings and they’ve even added another little boy since the last time we met. These kids kept me on my toes!

A Love Story: Tyler and Liz [Colwich Wedding Photography]

Be prepared: this is an exceptionally long post.  I had a hard time choosing which photos to showcase from this wedding.  I love each and every one!  I met Liz and Tyler in college and was super excited both when they asked me to shoot their wedding and when I found out it would be in Colwich (a lovely small town near where most of my family lives).  Despite (and maybe a little because of) a rather stormy day, the wedding was gorgeous and everyone involved was practically bursting with joy.  I’m going to stop blathering now and let the pictures speak for themselves.

Megan - Sweet pictures…I wore Ugg boots on my wedding day too. Love it 🙂

Kathleen - Amazing photos, as always!!! I love every single one of them. I can see how it must have been very difficult to pick your favs!

Baby Bump: Petra S. [Wichita Maternity Photography]

You may remember the beautiful mama I photographed back in December at around 24 weeks.  Well, now we’re back and she’s full term (37 weeks)!  We met at her downtown offices (she runs an amazing organization), I slung my own baby on my back (this was a first!) and we were able to capture her beautiful baby belly.  I can’t wait to meet this little girl, she’s coming into a wonderful family!

Michelle - Beautiful pictures of a beautiful girl! Can’t believe so many of my little sisters’ friends are having babies!!

Alive and Kicking!

Whew, sorry for a bit of a delay!  I had a quiet month or so before all of the craziness of spring and the start of wedding season set in.  I just got back from a trip down to Kansas and wanted to give you a bit of a preview (I certainly can’t expect you to stick around when I don’t post anything lovely for you!).

Right before I left for Wichita, I shot this beautiful little one.  Her name is Grace Joy, isn’t that perfect?

I started the week off with a maternity shoot.  You may recall when I took pictures of Petra’s lovely baby bump a couple of months ago at 24 weeks along.  Well, she’s now 37 weeks along and her little baby girl is ready to meet the world any day now!  I can’t wait to share the rest of these with you.  We shot around her office, and I had my own little baby challenge… a 10 month old strapped to my back as I shot.

Next came a rainy day wedding.  You won’t want to miss these… imagine all the beauty of a wedding, plus a downpour, a tractor and a whole lot of laughter!

And then this beautiful family.  I shot the three oldest when their baby brother was still growing in mama a little over a year ago.  It was amazing to see how they’ve grown and changed!
And of course, I always make time for my little nieces and nephews.  Aren’t they sweet?
