Normally I would only post this on our family blog. But it’s the photographer in me that loves every inch of this dimly lit, grainy photograph of a daddy loving his girl. Okay, it’s the momma and wife in me too. But seriously, this is the one I want her to see when she’s 23 and getting married.
This shoot was something a little extra special. Little Miss Siena was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and is undergoing chemotherapy. I’ll be chronicling just a little of her journey, so we started with some family pictures before she lost her hair. Her family has already cut their hair shorter in solidarity. They are so loving and such a strong family and she is a sweetheart. When she wasn’t in the picture, she would cuddle up next me and watch me work. And her big brother? Well, he kept me on my toes! He literally didn’t stop moving, but I love the pictures I captured of him, especially when he was hiding around the tree. I know you’re going to love this family as much as I already do!
This was such a fun shoot. I met these little ones at their home after a trek through a little snow (in April!). Little Mister Joseph was wide awake except for when his sister or brother were cuddling him. I really love his big eyes! The adorable hats you see are from Zana’s Ninis. I love, love, love them, especially the little brimmed one. It’s my favorite! Alright, go marvel in their cuteness. You really should!
Aren’t these two girls absolutely beautiful? Little Miss Felicity had a bit of a rough start with a fever that put in the hospital, but luckily, she was home soon and ready to snuggle up with her sissy for some pictures.
Isn’t that name just beautiful? This baby girl wanted to watch more than sleep, but she was beautiful, nonetheless. She has two big brothers, and I think they’ll watch out for her from the start.
