Oh, my friends, you’re going to like these two. First of all, they are darling. Second of all, they braved the craziest wind I think I’ve ever shot in, and smiled through the whole thing. The upside to that cold, crazy wind was that we got to end our shoot in a cozy little cafe with some rather delicious hot chocolate. Also, lucky me, I have their wedding coming up in a month and a half!
I’m going to tell you straight up: I’m a little biased toward this couple. See, that guy? He’s my baby brother… not so much a baby anymore, though, as he prepares to marry the sweetest girl I’ve ever met. We woke at the crack of dawn, actually, before the crack of dawn, and wandered the foggy Kansas prairie as the sun came up. I love these two and I truly am thrilled that Chelsea is joining our family!

I love how happy they both look–content, even.
Oh, these boys… aren’t they just scrumptious? I have been waiting to meet these darlings for months, so I still giggle a little when I look at these. Our outside plans were cancelled by freezing weather in the teens, so we rolled with it and made it an in-home session (this has become a trend lately for me, hasn’t it?) Their home is absolutely darling with the perfect little pockets of light throughout. Oh, how I love this family!

We began our shoot on a beautiful overlook; unfortunately, it was so windy that that beautiful overlook was going to be an impossible place to shoot. Luckily, they opened their lovely home up and we did an in-home session. Don’t they just exude joy? These photos make me smile every time I look through them.

That little boy is a Charlie clone!! I want to meet him!
Jenny - Oh these are adorable! Great work, and gorgeous subjects 😉
